Bull3D: 3D-printable puzzles to prevent bullying among students

About project

We are all aware of the dangers and threats of bullying, especially at an early age.

However, far from being only a problem during childhood, its psychological effects can materialize during adulthood. One of the great challenges of our society is to prevent it from the earliest ages. Although the initial causes are very varied, the existence of a lack of empathy towards the victim is usually considered a common property. This can also lead to different types of violence. But how to develop that empathy? How to teach young people the value of the others around them?

At Bull3d we want to offer a new methodology to support education based on the use of 3d printable puzzles with narrative as a psycho-pedagogical tool.

This project aims to address the problem of bullying from a unique perspective based on the most current psychological theories. One of the biggest difficulties that psychologists and teachers face when dealing with bullying prevention is the lack of resources.

It lasts 24 months 31/12/2024 – 30/12/2026.

Objectives

Main

Design an effective bullying prevention methodology based on non-formal education and inspired by the latest theories.

Offer concrete tools that can serve all children, primary and secondary schools, based on 3d printable puzzles to work as a therapy to prevent bullying helping the expression of emotions, collaboration and relation with their surroundings.

Co-creative session to define the puzzles that we need for bullying prevention.

Testing Phase

A testing phase will be carried out, where the consortium will offer the puzzles created and printed to the target groups.

Dissemination

Spread the training where we connect with at least another 2 schools per partner country (3 in total) and explain how our methodology is applied it in their centres.

Results

PUZZLES – 3 bullying prevention puzzles and the methodology that serves to apply them and as a guide to expand the sessions. These 3 puzzles each focus on a type of educational level (child, primary and secondary) and the projection of the image of the individual (self-image, how we see ourselves when relating to others and at societal level).
